Avowed Guide | Best Legendary Guns To Get

Obsidian Entertainment is well known within the realm of RPGs, and Avowed, an action role-playing title under the banner of Xbox Game Studios, is their most recent ambitious project.

This guide covers all the unique guns you can get in Avowed, from pistols to arquebuses. Each of these weapons has unique stats, bonuses, and enchantments, making them valuable for different playstyles. 

Unique pistols 

The Disappointer

Location: It's found in Paradis, Hightown. You'll need to look for a trader in the Northwest area down a small alleyway.

Stats: Initially, it has 10% less damage than other rifles but deals 10% bonus bleed damage.

Enchantments:

1. Restores the weapon to standard attack damage.
2. Power attacks reduce nearby enemy damage by 10% for 15 seconds

The first enchantment is normally more useful.

Caeroc's Pride

Location: You can obtain it from a bounty on the southeast island outside Paradis.

Stats: The power attacks deal with high shock accumulation, and hits do bonus shock damage.

Shock damage is really effective against a lot of enemies, making this pistol a strong choice for upgrades.

Fair Play

Location: You'll be able to purchase it from a trader in Thirdborn, Shatterscarp. 

Stats: Killing enemies using the weapon and restoring 5% maximum health and 25% stamina.

Enchantments:

1. Restore 10% maximum health and 50% stamina on kill.
2. Power attacks pull enemies into Melee range.

It's useful for health and stamina regeneration, especially against hordes of weaker enemies.

Magic Mistol

Location: Found in Ekidan Workshop, Galawain's Tusks Region.

Stats: Power attacks do high stun, and bullets seek and target enemies.

Enchantments:

1. Power attacks deal moderate stun to nearby enemies.
2. Killing an enemy grants 50% reload speed for 10 seconds.

It's one of the best pistols in the game due to its stun and homing bullet abilities.

Unique Arquebuses

One Last Trick

Location: It's a reward for completing the Steel Resolve quest in Emerald Stair.

Stats: Shots bounce off enemies, giving moderate damage to surrounding enemies; it also grants a 20% reload speed bonus.

Enchantments:

1. Bullets bounce to 2 enemies instead of one
2. Bullets deal low fire accumulation and bounce to an additional enemy.

It's a powerful weapon with high damage and reload speed, making it a great choice for arquebus users.

Izmalt's Meteoric Apparatus

Location: It's purchased from a merchant in Thirdborn, Shatterscarp.

Stats: It's a short-range powerful attack with your highest done and knock enemies back. It also deals with low fire accumulation near enemies.

Enchantments:

1. Increase in fire accumulation
2. Killing an enemy creates a lingering AOE that deals with higher fire accumulation.

Functions like a blunderbuss, requiring close-range combat. I recommend using it for stunning capabilities.

Moonstrike & Heavenstrike

Location: It's crafted in Solace Keep, Galawain's Tusks, using Starmetal.

Stats: It's a power attack deals moderate frost accumulation, and it also deals 10% bonus frost damage.

Moonstrike can be upgraded to Heavenstrike, increasing the damage output.

Enchantment

1. Power attacks will deal with more frost accumulation in nearby enemies.
2. Killing an enemy will give you a 5% damage reduction for the next 10 seconds.

Frost damage is really effective, making this one of the best late-game arquebuses.

Starmetal Locations

You'll need Starmetal to craft Moonstrike and Heavenstrike; you'll be able to find it in the following location:

Dawnshore: It's near the temple and is by the gateway to Emerald Stair.

Emerald Stair: find it in a waterfall cave that you can access through an abandoned house called Damp Burrow.

Shatterscarp: It's in an abandoned mine northeast of Thirdborn.

Galawain's Tusks: It's inside a meteor pit in an Ash Forest.

The best legendary guns in Avowed cater to different playstyles, it's for you to decide which style you resonate mostly with.
