The Loongwreathe Staff is a really powerful weapon that you can get quite early into the game. It’s not that hard to get if you know where to look. Here’s how you can get the weapon.
Beat the Wandering White Boss
First, head to the Forest of the Wolves. Make your way to the Wandering White Boss from the Forest Travel Point. You’ll need to defeat him to get his Spirit form, and you will need this to unlock a hidden area later on. Once you've defeated him, make sure to get his spirit with the Blessed Gourd.
Beat the King and Prince of Flowing Sands in Chapter 2
In Chapter 2, you will find yourself in Yellow Wind Ridge. Follow the path that leads to the village entrance, where you'll face a two-part boss battle. First, beat King and Prince of Flowing Sands blocking your way. After defeating him, you go to the right of the shrine into a cave to face The First Prince of Flowing Sands.
If you’re struggling with the second boss, consider upgrading your character before trying again. Remember to use the best gear with set bonuses you have and use your spark points in the skill tree. You should try to get the boss to hit the black wall nearby so you can get past it. If you don’t manage to do that, use the Bigheaded Ability to break through the wall. Inside, you’ll find a chest containing the Long Scales, which you’ll need to craft the Loongwreathe Staff.
Defeat Red Loong Behind the Waterfall
Now, go back to the Forest of the Wolves in Chapter 1. Follow the path to the hidden area behind a waterfall, where you'll find a dragon boss called Red Loong. This cannot be accessed unless you beat those bosses talked about in Chapter 2. You want to attack the back where the electricity comes from egg-like structures. You will deal triple damage and make the fight much easier this way. After defeating the dragon, you will get an item in the chest that you need to craft the Loongwreathe Staff.
Final Boss Battle in the Valley of Despair
Next, make your way to the Valley of Despair. This final boss is slower than the previous ones but deals heavy lightning damage. To avoid his lightning-breath attack, you can jump onto one of the rocks in the arena and wait for the attack to end. Once you’ve defeated the boss, loot the final chest.
How to Craft the Loongwreathe Staff
With all the items collected, go back to any Shrine. You’ll need the Thunder Tail, Thunder Bone, four Refined Iron Sands, and 21,000 Will XP to craft the Long Wreath Staff. Now, you can try out this epic staff in battle.
