In Daemon X Machina, legendary weapons and specific, unique equipment cannot be crafted immediately, even after acquiring their blueprints. While armor may be developed without issue, weapon and auxiliary blueprints remain inaccessible until you gain entry to a hidden location known as the Secret Factory.

Unlocking this factory can be confusing, as requirements vary and are not clearly explained within the game. This guide provides essential details on accessing the factory and crafting the most powerful equipment.

To reach the Secret Factory, you must first find the Secret Ice Cream Shop. Speaking to the salesgirl in front of the shop will reveal that ice cream purchases are connected to factory access.

However, simply buying enough ice cream or collecting a Gold Stamp Card does not guarantee entry. Many players assume this is a bug, as access is inconsistent, but several contributing factors unlock the factory.

Steps to Unlock the Secret Factory

A popular step is to buy ice cream, and many players say they can access the shop when they reach Silver Grade or Gold Card level. It could also help to complete story tasks until legendary recipes appear, but that won't be the only thing needed.

Mining ores plays a significant role. Mining must be done in your own session, as progress made in another player's session does not trigger the factory's availability. Once ores are mined in personal sessions, the factory is more likely to unlock. Some players also report that developing certain weapons or armor may help trigger access.

What You Do Not Need to Do

Certain activities are not required to unlock the Secret Factory. Ranking up in the Colosseum is unnecessary, as the factory can be accessed without significant progress there. Similarly, playing the card mini-game does not affect access to the factory.

Additionally, side tasks completed by other players are not counted because the rewards differ, and progress isn't shared. Also, you don't have to beat all of the World Bosses to get to the plant; you can get there without getting every core.
