The bone near Gecqua is of significance because it shows the existence of a relationship with a Ghost-type individual. This can be noticed when one reaches the third phase, which appears to be the phase of a skull of a ghost.

There are also more weird components of the image, such as an eyeball, something that looks like a typewriter, and a flaming skull bat.

If those hints are accurate, Gecqua could potentially become a Water/Ghost starter, which would be a particularly unusual direction for a starter Pokémon. Another theory has suggested Water/Psychic instead, partly because of descriptions connected to other material, so the typing remains completely unconfirmed.
