The Greybone Greatsword is a progression weapon found during the Great Lake section of Dinoblade. You cannot simply explore the region and collect it immediately. The weapon is tied to Mokusei the Titan and becomes available after defeating that Alpha.

Progress through the Great Lake until you reach Mokusei the Titan. The Great Lake contains several encounters, but Mokusei is the important boss for this weapon.

Before reaching Mokusei, use the available Save Stones and make sure your Healing Charges are restored. Mokusei uses powerful stomps and spinning attacks that can hit with both its tail and the large log it carries.

Defeat Mokusei the Titan

During the fight, avoid staying directly beside Mokusei for extended periods. Its stomps and spins make close-range aggression dangerous. Charge Attacks can provide safer damage while you learn the timing of its heavier attacks.

Once Mokusei the Titan is defeated, do not leave the boss area without checking the reward point ahead.

Break the Weapon Rock

After the victory, locate the weapon rock that appears along the route and break it. The reward from this acquisition point is the Greybone Greatsword. Multiple current full-release weapon records agree on both the weapon name and the Mokusei acquisition requirement.

There is no separate quest or material requirement. Defeating Mokusei the Titan and collecting the post-fight weapon reward are the only essential steps.

Defeat Mokusei the Titan in the Great Lake and break the weapon rock after the fight to get the Greybone Greatsword.
