Marisa of Liartop Mountain Guide | Mother Owl's Crossword Puzzle

As the story progresses in Marisa of Liartop Mountain, you'll have to get back to Mother Owl's room. When Mother Owl sends you to floor 9N, which is the one with the bookmark book, make sure you have finished all the tasks and goals on each floor before heading back to her chamber.

Progress through the game until just before the battle with Husk Marisa on floor 12. This makes it easy and ensures Mother Owl leaves her room, and makes it possible to revisit her.

The Path to Mother Owl's Room

Travel to floor 11S and approach the pile of books; this will weigh heavily on your heart. After that, speak to the librarian and then choose to fight the fat book bug.

You have to win the dice roll to kick it down the passage. Then read from the book pile again to lift your spirits. This allows you to move through the corridor.

Move forward and jump towards the book at the end of the path. This action unlocks floor 15W.

Caution on Floors 13–15

On floors 13 through 15, the librarian will attack you when you interact with them. After that, from floor 15W, you will have two options. You can choose to go down the passage and fight the two librarians, which is optional.

Or directly go to Mother Owl's room by going up the passage, fighting 1 librarian, and jumping into the hole to reach Mother Owl's room.

If you want to level up, fighting the librarians is recommended, as they give you extra experience points. 

Solving Mother Owl's Crossword Puzzle

Once you're inside Mother Owl's room, you have to complete a crossword puzzle to unlock the progress:

For Question 1, the Vertical hint is "Tasty food that goes good with sauce". The Answer for this is 'Mouse'

Lastly, for Question 2, the Vertical hint is 'Time when everyone is quiet,' and the Answer for that is 'Day.'

After you're done completing the puzzle, Mother Owl will send you back to floor 9N. From there, you can continue onward to fight Husk Marisa.
