Mina the Hollower Guide | What Happens If You Collect All Kears
Find out what the full Kear collection gives you and where the final hand-in happens.

Kears are small progression items used to open Kear Locks across Mina the Hollower. They are easy to spend as you explore, but the game also tracks the wider collection through an NPC who is interested in the Kears you gather. If you are aiming for completion, this side objective is worth knowing before you start clearing every lock and hidden room.
The important detail is that this is not a secret ending trigger or a major combat upgrade. It is a collection payoff. The reward is useful, but it is smaller than many players may expect after hunting down every spare Kear.
Find the NPC Who Wants Kears
The Kear hand-in starts with the NPC who specifically asks you to collect Kears. Speak with him once the side objective becomes available, then continue exploring the world normally. Every Kear you buy, find, or earn from hidden routes pushes you closer to finishing the request.

Collect the Extra Kears
The collection does not simply end when you have opened the main locks. The video shows that there are extra Kears to gather, so keep checking optional shops, hidden rooms, and late-game areas instead of assuming the count is finished. These spare Kears are the ones that matter for the final exchange.

Because Kears are tied to optional exploration, it is best to finish major dungeons, revisit suspicious rooms, and clear remaining side paths before trying to complete the hand-in. If the NPC still does not finish the request, you are likely missing one of the late or hidden Kears.
Give the Remaining Kears
Once Mina has the remaining Kears, return to the collector and hand them over. This triggers the final part of the exchange. Do not expect a new area, alternate boss, or special costume from this step. The reward is mainly a completion bonus for clearing the Kear collection.
What the Reward Is
After turning in the final Kears, the reward shown is 1,000 Bones. It is a direct currency payout rather than a unique item. That makes the result helpful if you still need upgrades, but less important if Mina is already late in the game with most purchases finished.

For completion-focused runs, collecting every Kear is still worthwhile because it clears the objective and confirms that you have explored the relevant Kear paths. For a normal playthrough, the reward is optional and should not be treated as a required power boost.
