Monster Hunter Wilds Guide | How To Find The Black Flame Monster

Monster Hunter Wilds is Capcom's return to the Monster Hunter franchise, where every hunt tests your skills, patience, and creativity. Built on the foundations of its predecessors, it's a memorable title that has enticed gamers with its relentless and intense quests and challenges. 

The Black Flame monster can be a challenging target for you to find in the "Long Forgotten Flame" quest. Because of the massive size of the map finding the monster can be tricky; this guide is going to show you a step-by-step approach to how you can find the Black Flame Monster.

When you search for The Black Flame monster you should begin at the main base camp which is located at the top of the map. 

Rotate the map so that you can focus on the lowest edge of the map, and you'll see a "Road to the Iceshard Cliffs" icon. Set a waypoint at the location and follow the route using a Seikret Mount.

Reaching Area 13

Once you follow the trail and after making a large jump into a water area, you will arrive at Area 13. From here open your map and zoom in to reveal the next steps.

When you are in Area 13, on the map look for a Chillshroom in Area 14. Setting a waypoint to the Chillshroom and calling a Seikret Mount will lead you to the final location. Once you've reached Chillshroom, the cave that follows will have the black flame monster.

By following these steps you can easily locate and find the black flame monster in the "Long Forgotten Flame" quest.
