Here’s a guide on how to beat the Secret Boss in Nioh 3.

Beating the Demon Slayer takes some focus, but you can do it. You need to head to the second part of the map. This is the Snowy Area.

Look for a side quest called The Box’s Guardian. It sits right before you enter the Palace Grounds. This is where the fight happens in Nioh 3.

Getting Your Gear Ready

The Demon Slayer moves fast. He has a kick that can knock you out in one go. Because of this, you should pick Soul Cores that fit how you like to play. If you like being quick, go with a Ninja style. Before the fight starts, use a Power Talisman to help your hits do more damage.

How to Fight the Boss

When the battle begins, watch his feet. His combo attacks usually end with that powerful kick. If he hits you, heal up fast. Use your Soul Cores to try to knock him down in Nioh 3.

Even if you miss, keep trying. If the fight drags on, put on another Power Talisman. Watch your stamina so you don't get stuck, unable to move. When his health gets low, use your Living Artifact to finish him off.

Dealing with the Ambush

The fight isn't over when the Demon Slayer falls. Two more enemies will jump in to trick you. Don't panic because you get your Soul Cores back for this part.

Focus on the smaller enemy first to get him out of the way. Once he is gone, the last guy is easy to take down in Nioh 3.

Claiming Your Loot

Winning this secret battle gives you great rewards. You can get Ninja’s Locks and Smithing Texts. Before you leave the area, walk behind the Temple. There is an extra Item back there that you will need later.
