Here’s a guide on how to cross Spirit Veins in Nioh 3.

You can find two Spirit Veins in the Tenryu River region. You cannot reach them until you are further into the game. Each one stays locked until you beat a specific boss.

Once you have the correct Guardian Spirit, you can use the traverse command to cross these paths in Nioh 3.

The Northern Spirit Vein

The first vein becomes available during the main story. You need to go to the tower and win the boss fight there. This usually happens around level 40.

After the boss is down, go to the camp at Prospect Hill and look in the back. Use the Kongojishi spirit to enter the vein. You will find a chest inside. It holds the Deadly Eye secret skill text and some extra gear. The items you get will match your current level.

The Ikeda Ferry Spirit Vein

The second vein unlocks after you move to the next region and beat the first boss, the Great Tengu. After you defeat him, head back to Ikeda Ferry in Nioh 3.

Go to the area behind the start and move upward to find the vein. Use your power to cross over. You will find Raiju waiting there. If you win the fight, you get Lightning Claws and a Soul Core.
