Resident Evil 4: Separate Ways Guide | All Castle Treasures Locations

Ada Wong delves into Salazar Castle in Resident Evil 4: Separate Ways DLC in search of Amber, overcoming a variety of enemies and challenges. The section of the Castle has 27 treasures that you can sell to the Merchant in return for Pesetas, which can be utilized to obtain better weapons or gain useful items. 

The guide details all of the Castle's Treasures and their respective places, ensuring that you do not miss a useful reward.

Treasures in the Castle Gate (Chapter 1)

The first reward, the Elegant Headdress, is in the northwest section of Castle Gate. Once you've wrestled in the area and escaped a Black Robe, walk to the west, kill an adversary across a bridge, and walk up the path to the north. Enter a shack in which an aggressor breaks in and turn to the right to open a chest that has the Elegant Headdress in it.

The Splendid Bangle, to be inlaid in gems, is on the southeastern side of Castle Gate. After you've descended the northern set of stairs, walk to the south to kill two Zealots next to a gazebo. 

In order to obtain the Bangle, check in next to the crates. The next treasure, a Ruby, is in a chest at the bottom of a set of stairs in a section of Castle Gate in order to wrestle out of it.

Return to the Castle (Chapter 4)

After saving Luis, return to the Castle immediately to get the Gold Bar (L). Before a padlocked door is opened, look to the side and jump to get a treasure chest. The Bindery's Lithograph Puzzle is solved to get a Velvet Blue. 

The silver lantern over a doorway is shot to get the prize. The Vintage Compass, 8,000 Pesetas, is found next to a Treasure Room, in which players can get a Gold Bottle. In order to get the prize, check a display case near a Silver Bottle lock.

Treasures in Courtyard and Treasure Room

By opening a Silver Bottle, go to the west and open a cabinet using a Small Key to get an Ornate Necklace. In the Treasure Room, take care of Armaduras and Zealots, which opens up an Alexandrite in a hidden place on the east wall. 

The other treasure, the Elegant Chessboard, is in a hidden doorway that is opened by trading a Silver Bottle for a Gold Bottle.

Exiting the Courtyard, players can get a Velvet Blue to the side of a fountain to the west of a Merchant's shop. The Red Beryl is in a circular section to the Courtyard's southwest, and a Butterfly Lamp is waiting in the Courtyard's east corner, in a chest next to a marble fountain.

Treasures in the Battlements and Collection Rooms

Moving farther into the Collection Room, a Sapphire is encountered after a Blue Moonstone is used to open a door. A Ruby is encountered on the third floor of the Castle Battlement—grappling up and down the stairs, and a wood case is found in a small alcove. Before entering the Collection Room, a Golden Hourglass is found hidden behind a moon-marked door. 

Outside of the Collection Room, a Yellow Diamond is encountered; before you smash in the door, check along the railing for a treasure chest. Ada can obtain a Pearl Bangle after completing the Blue Butterfly Puzzle by grappling to the top of the battlement. 

The Elegant Crown, one of the more costly items, is found by following Luis' footprints in Chapter 5. Instead of going down a hole, take a side path, clear Zealots, and check in the back of the sun-lever.

Lower Castle and Waterway Treasures

Rappelling to the bottom of the Castle, a Velvet Blue is found on a broken-down stairway. Ruby is found in a silver lamp in a place where you can destroy crates. In the valve room of the waterway, a Gold Bar (L) is stored in a cabinet that requires a Small Key. In case a Small Key is not found, it is found in possession of the Merchant in exchange for Spinel.

Further into the northeastern corridor, a Mirror with Rubies and Pearls is found in a dead end in a chest. After draining water, a different Alexandrite is found; drop-down close to the Merchant's shop and slay the Zealot that is guarding the treasure chest. A Yellow Diamond is found hidden in a silver lantern that hangs close to a bridge on the river to the south.

Final Treasures on the Path of Penitence

The Depraved Idol is on Penitence's northeast corner path, blocked by a rolling boulder. An Emerald is also in a silver lamp that is hanging on a cave ceiling in that same section. After a fight to gain entry to the Ancient Chantry, the Brass Pocket Watch is a treasure found in a final treasure hunt. 

After a fight with Krauser and a ride up to the docks in the elevator, a Zealot is defeated in the west section, and a silver beam of light is shot across a stack of barrels to gain the remaining treasure.
