Resident Evil Village Guide | How To Solve Five Bell Puzzle

The Five Bells Puzzle in the Village of Resident Evil 8 is one of the important tasks that you must complete in Castle Dimitrescu in order to proceed along the story. The puzzle arises shortly after the death of the lady's second daughter. 

If you manage to solve it correctly, you will be able to gain an alternate route and move deeper within the castle.

Finding and Ringing the Bells

The First Bell is on a little table right at the start of the room. Make sure you pick up the handgun bullets because you're going to need the handgun to ring a couple of the other bells.

The Second Bell is swinging in this little area, and you need to time your shot so it hits the bell as it's swinging. You'll know you got it when you hear the ring and see a little flame pop up.

The Third Bell can be found on top of where you got the handgun bullets, believe it or not. There's a tiny little bell up here just in front of this painting, so go ahead and shoot that.

The Fourth Bell is in the chandelier. You need to hit the base or the bottom of the chandelier to get it to swing. Once you get it swinging enough, the bell will be revealed, and then you can shoot it.

The Fifth and Final Bell is actually outside. You want to look through this glass window, shoot it once to break the window, and then shoot the bell.

Once all five have rung, the painting will open to reveal a secret door, and you can continue on with your quest.

What Happens Next?

Once all five bells are triggered, the big painting inside the room will shift to open the hidden door. This path flows to the entry further within Castle Dimitrescu and further along the path through Resident Evil 8: Village.

This puzzle will test your marksmanship and observing capability, but if you follow the steps given above, you will be easily able to solve it.
