Resident Evil Village Guide | How To Solve Music Box Puzzle

Resident Evil 8: Village has an abundance of puzzles, one of which is the broken music box. If you are experiencing difficulties fixing it to the point that it will play, this guide will take you through the process step by step.

Getting Started

The music box problem arises during the part of the House Beneviento. When you get to the music box, the cylinders are off center, so the system will not play. The problem arises in restoring them to positions that will allow the system to be played.

Arrange the Cylinders

To solve the problem, move the cylinders to their corresponding positions. First, place the second one within the first one. Next, place the fourth one within the second one. The third one will be placed next to the fifth one. At last, interchange the third one and the fourth one.

When properly sequenced, the sequence will be four, two, and then three. As the box is wound, the mechanism sequences into place to play, displaying that the puzzle has been solved.

Unlocking the Tweezers

Once the music box has begun to play, there will be an opening drawer under the box to expose a tweezer. The tweezers will be employed to travel further throughout the game.

Using Tweezers

Take the tweezers to the doll. Open the doll's mouth and pull a film from inside using the tweezers. This film will be the next crucial item you will need to play the game further.
