In SIGNALIS, the Incinerator Puzzle is a critical puzzle that necessitates accurate gas level adjustments. Successfully completing it unlocks the Fire Key, which is required to proceed in the game. This guide includes a full tour to help you navigate and solve the challenge effectively.

When you enter the Incinerator Room, you will see a control panel with three dials, each of which corresponds to a specific gas:

  • Blue markers indicate Carbon Dioxide.
  • Gas is indicated with yellow marks.
  • Greenish marks indicate the presence of Oxygen.
  • A red and black line is displayed next to these dials. Your goal is to set the dials such that the black line completely coincides with the red line, indicating the proper gas composition.

  • To help you change the dials, the control panel has indicators on the left side:
  • The upward arrow indicates that the related gas level is too high.
  • The downward arrow shows that the matching gas level is too low.
  • No arrow shows that the gas level is correct.
  • These signs will let you decide whether you should increase or reduce the gas levels.

Initial Adjustment

Pull the lever located on the right side of the control panel. This operation will illuminate the indicators and give you feedback on the current petrol levels.

Adjusting Carbon Dioxide Levels

  • If the Carbon Dioxide indicator shows an upward arrow, move the Carbon Dioxide dial to the left (anticlockwise) to lower the level.
  • To increase the Carbon Dioxide level, move the dial to the right (clockwise) when the indicator shows a downward arrow.
  • If there is no arrow, the Carbon Dioxide level is appropriate.

Adjusting Petrol Levels

  • Repeat the process with the Gas dial. Use the indicators as a reference point and make changes accordingly.

  • Set the Oxygen dial according to the indicators shown.

Final Check

After you are done adjusting all the dials, lift the lever again to ensure that the black and red lines align correctly. If they do, the incinerator will open, giving you the Fire Key.
