Signalis Guide | How To Solve Astrolabe Puzzle & Open Shrine Box

You can receive an Astrolabe by using the computer in SIGALIS' Library, which is located on level B8. This guide will show you how to solve the puzzle step by step.

Finding the Star Map and Understanding the Puzzle

To begin solving the Astrolabe problem in SIGNALIS, visit the Briefing Room on level B8. Inside, there's a Star Map that depicts the relative locations of celestial bodies around Heimat, the central star. This map is significant since it contains the solution to the puzzle. Heimat is fixed at the top, and three movable celestial bodies must be positioned in their proper positions:

• Outer Ring: A massive planet (circle).
• The middle ring contains a pair of planets (two lines).
• Inner Ring: The small planetoid closest to Heimat (a hexagon).
• Take a screenshot or carefully note their positions, as they will not change.

Using an Astrolabe in the Shrine Box

Next, visit the Library on level B8 and use the computer to retrieve the Astrolabe. Then, go to Adler’s Study and place the Astrolabe in the Shrine Box. After doing so, Heimat will be fixed at the top with three rotating rings. Your goal is to align these rings with the Star Map arrangement you saw before.

To adjust the rings, follow these steps:

• Position the outer ring (circle) down and to the left.
• Middle Ring (two lines): Position it up and to the left.
• Inner Ring (Hexagon): Move it downward and to the right.
• Unlocking the Shrine Box and Progressing

Once the rings are properly orientated, push the Astrolabe's central button. If suitably positioned, the Shrine Box will open and reveal the Administrator's Key. This key is required for progressing in SIGNALIS; therefore, obtain it before continuing.

By carefully analyzing the Star Map and adjusting the Astrolabe, you may rapidly solve this puzzle and progress in the game.
