Total War: Three Kingdoms Guide | How to Use Quick Deals Effectively

Master Quick Deal to fast-track diplomacy, vassals, and profitable treaties.

Diplomacy in Total War: Three Kingdoms becomes increasingly complex in the mid to late game as you seek to vassalize, confederate, trade, and secure Non-Aggression or Military Access agreements.

Manually checking every faction is time-consuming, even when you try to filter the obvious candidates. The Quick Deal system streamlines this process so you can see, at a glance, who is ready to accept specific offers and where a little persuasion will close the deal.

Understanding The Quick Deal Screen

The Quick Deal interface sits in the top-left of the diplomacy screen next to Negotiate. Think of Quick Deal as the reverse of standard negotiations.

Instead of selecting a faction and proposing a deal to see its response, you select a deal type and immediately see every known faction's response to that deal on the right side of the screen. This view eliminates guesswork and reduces the grind of opening multiple diplomacy panels.

How To Access And Use Quick Deal

Open diplomacy and click Quick Deal next to Negotiate. Choose the desired deal category—such as Create Vassal, trade agreements, Non-Aggression, or Military Access—and review the automatically populated list of factions. The right panel shows each faction's stance toward the selected offer, letting you target receptive partners instantly or plan which factions may require additional leverage.

Reading Color Coding And Responses

When you look at Quick Deal results, color-coded responses indicate how each faction will react. If a faction appears in green with "Yes," you can confirm the deal without offering anything extra, and it may even pay you.

If a faction appears in blue with "Maybe," you will need to persuade it with gifts or force to reach an agreement. If a faction appears in red with "No," the deal is off the table for now. By scanning these colors, you quickly prioritize easy wins, identify near-misses worth nudging, and avoid wasting time where acceptance is impossible.

Practical Uses In Mid To Late Game Diplomacy

When you want to push for vassalization, confederation, and trade across various borders, the Quick Deal panel is very helpful. Under "Create Vassal," you can quickly find groups that are ready to become your vassals. You can also set up "Non-Aggression" and "Military Access" to protect your borders and trade routes, which will help your economy.

By consolidating responses for every known faction, the system helps you make efficient, map-wide diplomatic progress without repetitive manual checks.
