Black Myth: Wukong Guide | How To Change Game Text To English

While Black Myth: Wukong is breaking the Steam Chart record, there have been many complaints about the game's starting language being in Chinese. So here's how to change your text from Chinese to English or any other preferred language. 

After launching Black Myth: Wukong, press any of the starting options in Chinese text on the title screen. Once you're in the game, you can press the very top option, which is to "Continue Your Journey" or "Start A New One". 
 Once you're in the game or at a point where you can pause it, pause it by pressing the Option button controllers. It's the same button for XBSX or PS5 controller and Esc for PC. After you've paused the game, go to the very far right, which is your Settings. Then go all the way down to this Exit Option and select the first option from the right. 
Now, this is going to return you back to the title screen. Once you're at the title screen, you can press X or A (if using the XBSX controller) and then go to the second last option, which is Settings.
Once you're in Settings, go to the Chat Box icon and select it. Select the first option, which will show a drop-down list, and from there, you'll then be able to choose any language you want your game's text to be in.

One thing to note is that even though Black Myth: Wukong supports several languages, such as Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Polish, and Italian, some of the in-game scrolls will still display text in Chinese. Hopefully, the developers will patch this soon.
