The Beatles: Rock Band

I'd bet my pension (it won't be that big anyway) that there isn't a single person on this planet, who doesn't know at least one song of The Beatles. Unfortunately I wasn't even born when The Beatles were driving the little girls crazy, in fact I envy my father and his generation.

But Harmonix promises us that they will bring us all the hype on our consoles. The Beatles Rock Band will feature 45 songs, chosen from 12 albums of the band's legendary career, recorded from 1962 to 1969. Harmonix have also revealed that additional content will be released in due time, with full albums available for downloading ."All you need is love" will be the first one, available for XBOX360 gamers on day 1 of the game, proceeds from which will be donated to Doctors Without Borders.

You don't have to worry for your current Rock Band or Guitar Hero controllers, as all of them will be compatible with The Beatles: Rock Band. However, the newly designed periphals are very tempting.

The game will also include many of the venues that the Beatles have performed, including Cavern Club in Liverpool, Abbey Road Studios, Budokan and as the pic below reveals, The Ed Sullvan Show.
