Days Gone Joins PlayStation's Essential Picks This September 16th

Days Gone released last year to mixed reception. While many loved the game's dark new apocalyptic world and the Freaker Virus many were annoyed with the audio problems and multiple glitches. Since then the game has improved with stability patches and will receive a permanent price drop of $19.99.

The standard edition will retail for $19.99 and the deluxe for $24.99.

Days Gone stars Deacon St. John, a survivor living in a new world where humanity was destroyed by illness. Called the Freaker Virus the disease has infected humans, birds, and most mammals turning them into violent destructive creatures with increase strength, durability, and regeneration. Deacon is searching for his lost wife while trying to survive against these new threats.

Days Gone is available for PS4.
