Today animation studio Aardman confirmed they're working with Bandai Namco on a new IP.
Information is limited but it's a "multiple media" project that will ramp up development in early 2021 according to Gamesindustry.biz. Aardman is best known for the narrative title 11-11: Memories Retold. A gripping tale of 2 soldiers during WW1, one an American and the other a German who enlisted into their respected army for their own reasons and end up crossing paths. Developing a unique bond that is tested constantly as the player makes choices that alter the story leading to 1 of multiple endings.
The game was well-received, especially for its distinct art style. However, many felt the game's price was high considering the content provided. Despite having a branching narrative the game's overall package was lacking compared to other narrative experiences.
