Life is Strange: True Colors is the next big release in the popular narrative franchise. With Square Enix releasing the first gameplay trailer of the game
The trailer shows protagonist Alex coming home to a local record store she used to hang out at. Alex attempting to regain her footing after being let go from foster care and introducing herself to new characters such as Ryan and meeting up with her brother.
The gameplay definitely checks all the boxes fans love about Life is Strange games. Individual interactions, branching narrative options, and a multitude of interactive options. We don't get a look at Alex's abilities but the short teaser offers enough to showcase that the developers are focusing on aspects that made this franchise a hit.
Life is Strange True Colors is out September 10, with Steph's DLC, 'Wavelengths', available September 30 on PlayStation, Xbox, PC, and Stadia, and coming to Nintendo Switch later this year.
