Cyberpunk 2077's Edgerunners Update Is Now Available

Some new information about the recently released Edgerunners Update (Patch 1.6) was discussed in the most recent edition of Night City Wire. In honor of the upcoming Netflix anime Cyberpunk: Edgerunners (releasing on September 13), the current patch adds gear from the show. When exploring Night City, players may come across David Martinez's signature jacket and a shotgun carried by one of the show's characters.

Any of V's flats or safehouses may now utilize the greatly sought communal transmog system or Wardrobe. Up to six different ensembles may be saved and accessed from the player's inventory. In addition, there is a cloud save/continue feature that allows players to switch between platforms without losing their progress.

 

Also included in this revision is the addition of Roach Race to all of Night City's coin-operated arcade games. In this side-scrolling minigame, Roach, a popular character from The Witcher games, gallops, leaps, and glitches her way through several areas. High scores will be rewarded with Eurodollars and stuff, while those who want to play outside of Cyberpunk 2077 may do so by downloading Roach Race for free on iOS and Android. With the mobile version, created in tandem with Crunching Koalas, users from all around the world may compete in real-time on global leaderboards.

Players have already had the opportunity to meet and adopt Nibbles, a cat who will get a larger role in the game due to the Edgerunners Update. Nibbles may now be used in Photo Mode with the latest update. In addition to these additions, Night City also has new weapons, missions, and mysteries. After the events of Night City Wire came to a close, the focus of the most recent REDstreams was on giving viewers a sneak peek at what's in store for the game.
