Dragon Age: Inquisition Multiplayer Revealed
Dragon Age: Inquisition will have multiplayer that focuses on loot, combat and team-based battles instead of story

Cooperative multiplayer is coming to Dragon Age: Inquisition. BioWare has stated that Inquisition’s story is enormous, spanning over 200 hours, and wants the multiplayer to work in short 20-30 minute burst instead. Available at launch the randomly generate level, consisting of 3 campaigns, will have players fighting through 5 of 10 pre-designed areas in one go with unique variables in each arena. Playing the same stage will have a different collection of arenas and enemies to face.
The multiplayer will have a small link to the campaign but BioWare’s signature storytelling is reserved for the main campaign. Working with the Inquisitor you and a party of other individuals aid in the struggle by completing quest for the Inquisitor.
While single-player is aiming for narrative and gameplay systems multiplayer is focused on loot, combat and team-based battles. After completing a multiplayer quest you’ll be rewarded with gold to spend on treasure chests for new equipment, potions, grenades and salves. Some chests will include new heroes or character skins. At launch 9 heroes will be available, each with their own appearance, abilities and characterization. Players will have three mages, melee and archers to choose from.
For those hoping to skip the grind a Platinum option is available. Like Mass Effect 3 you’ll have to play enough to gain access to a prize or pay to accelerate your progress.
Dragon Age: Inquisition is set to release on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4 and PC on November 18 in North America and November 21 in European Territories.
