Randal's Monday Gets Demo At Sci-Fi Con
Randal's Monday has a demo now.

Publisher Daedalic Entertainment has added a demo to Randal’s Monday. It allows for the full third chapter of the adventure game to be played.
This third act is likely the most illustrative scene of Randal’s Monday. In it, titular character Randal needs to get into a sci-fi convention, to retrieve a lost engagement ring. A theme for the point and click adventure is a reliance on pop culture references, mostly from an era past. As such, the con is the perfect fuel to bring anything from Star Wars to Marvel Comics or Back to the Future into the picture.
A demo can be downloaded directly from the game’s Steam page. Alternatively, for the last few members on this Earth that aren’t on Steam, there’s a DRM-free version that can be downloaded as well. It will take about 3.4Gb to take it all in, so don’t let the cartoon visuals be any indication.
Randal’s Monday is a reference-heavy title. As such, it put two and two together and hired Jeff Anderson to do the voice. Anderson plays the misanthropic store attendant in the Clerks movie series from director Kevin Smith. These two characters, Randal and Randal, have a knack for taking cues from any nerdy material they have consumed in the past. Developer Nexus Game Studios has gone so far as to include a cameo of Jay & Silent Bob in the game. Jay even has a voice over recording hailing from Jason Mewes, the actor who portrays the stoner burnout in the movies.
For those who enjoy Randal's Monday when playing the demo, the full game is available for €22.99.
