343 Industries Isn't Interested in Incorporating Battle Royale into Halo Infinite
"The only BR we’re interested in is Battle Rifle,"

Battle Royale has taken the gaming world by storm thanks to Epic's Fortnite and Bluehole's PUBG. Other developers have attempted to hop onto the train by releasing rush projects like The Culling II and removing single-player campaigns like in with Activision and Treyarch's Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. But 343 Industries doesn't seem interested in chasing trends.
In a recent live stream on Microsoft's Mixer, 343 Industries expressed their disinterest in bringing battle royale to the upcoming Halo Infinite. Jeff Easterling, a writer at 343 who is also known as Grim Brother One said, “I’ll tell you right now, the only BR we’re interested in is Battle Rifle. The original BR. So, calm yourself.”
This will definitely be positively received by fans of the franchise who expressed their relief about this news. However, little information about Halo Infinite is available and it's far from being released so this could change.
As a fan of Halo, this is definitely a positive note as I do enjoy large battles but prefer Big Team Battle.
Halo Infinite is now in development for Xbox One.
