Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare has two new modes for those seeking the highest possible challenge.
As detailed on Activision's Blog the two new modes are Specialist, which is unlocked after beating the game on any difficulty, and YOLO. The Specialist mode has been designed to be "intensely realistic and not for the faint of heart. Included are the following restrictions:
Np health regeneration. Healing from Nano Shots only.
Helmets take permanent damage and need to be replaced.
Nano Shots and helmets take up equipment slots.
Movement impacted by receiving leg shots.
Aim down sights and equipment use affected by receiving arm shots.
Enemies can shoot weapons out of your hands.
Those who complete Specialist mode will get access to YOLO mode. In this mode, you have one life if you die you start at the beginning of the game. Those who endured Dead Space 3's hardcore mode will feel right at home.
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare launches on November 4th for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. Those looking to buy a PS4 can get the game for free on November 4th and 5th with the purchase of a new PS4. Plus the PS4 version includes an exclusive VR mission.
