Omen Of Sorrow Is A 2D Fighting Game With A Roster Inspired By Horror, Fantasy And Mythology

If 2D fighting games are your thing, publisher SOEDESCO and developer AOne Games have something coming your way next month. As the blurb on the developer's website puts it, their upcoming title Omen Of Sorrow "is a classic 2D, four-button fighting game, with Unreal Engine 4 powered graphics, a cast of 12 characters inspired by classical horror, fantasy and mythology, and a battle system designed from the ground up to leverage player skill, rather than stats or random chance, featuring deep combat mechanics that favor movement and spacing over tight execution to provide an engaging experience for pros and newcomers alike!".

Aside from a "robust single player experience with different gameplay modes", players will be able to take part in multiplayer matches both locally and online. The latter promises "a near-lagless online experience.". Omen Of Sorrow arrives on November 6th on PS4. It's currently available for pre-order for the discounted price of $44.99.
