Adventure Platformer Chasm Will Be Out This Summer

BitKid have announced that Chasm, their upcoming procedurally generated adventure platformer, finally has a release window of Summer 2018. In development since 2012, and having undergone a succesful Kickstarter in 2013, Chasm will see Daltyn, a young soldier, travel through the mine below Karthas, in an attempt to rid it of the paranormal forces assailing the town.

Inspired by both hack 'n' slash dungeon crawlers and Metroidvania games, Chasm will feature six massive  areas procerudarlly assembled from hand-crafted rooms, massive bosses, alongside character customization in the form of gear and abilities.A new teaser trailer gives us a further glimpse at some of the baddies we'll face. Chasm will be available on PC (Windows, Mac and Linux), PS4 and PS Vita as cross-buy. Have a look at the full announcement.
