Gears of War 4 April 2018 Update Adds Easter Event

Since its launch back The Coalition has been hard at work adding new updates to Gears of War 4. In anticipation of Easter Gears of War 4's April update is adding 2v2 mode and an Easter Event.

The 2v2 game modes will add fan favorites such as Brothers To The End, 2v2 Gnasher fights, Raven Down and much more.

The Easter Event will begin on March 29th and add classic Big Rig Dizzy to the character variant, a 400 & 2000 Gear Pack, the return of Bunny Hunt which is a variant of Guardian where everyone is armed with Longshots and the Guardian's wear Bunny Heads, and Juvie Madness. In Juvie Madness, players fight against 25 waves of Juvies and random boss variants during Boss Waves. 

The Coalition is also adding a new Midnight Omen Skin loot drops along with 14 Easter themed weapon skins. The complete update notes can be seen below:

Added support for 2v2 Game Modes as future special events

Audio and Visual settings will no longer reset after quitting the game

Fixed a visual bug that caused Credit Totals to not add up correctly, or appear as zero, on the Reward screen

Fixed an issue causing Bounties to become unequipped after they are completed in Social

Spectator Mode: Camera now defaults to Battle Camera after each round

Miscellaneous Fixes and Improvements

Gears of War 4 is now available for Xbox One and Windows 10.
