Gears of War 4 February Update Adds Valentine's Event and Much More

The Coalition released a brand new update for Gears of War 4 and with it 2 new maps, a week-long Valentine's event, new Gear Packs, and new updates to the game

The 2 new maps include:

Impact Dark 

A remix version of Impact where visibility is permanently reduced by smoke. Every weapon swap has been changed and Snipers have been replaced with Boltoks, Dropshot replaced with Troque or EMBAR, and Overkill is now available where incendiaries use to be.

War Machine

Appeared in Gears of War this new redesigned version is now set in a COG Settlement. 

Both maps are available on the Develop Playlist for Season Pass Holders and features TDM, Guardian and King of the Hill with Double XP and 20% Bonus Credits.

Guardian Changes:

Players now spawn closer to their leader

Core and Competitive lobbies will arrive next month through the March update. The Coalition also promised a flow of Legacy Characters later but who these characters are a mystery. Most likely, judgeing from the name, characters from the past franchise.

The Coalition promises some huge summer updates for Horde mode that include:

New “Inconceivable” Difficulty (Campaign & Horde)

IronMan Mode (Campaign & Horde)

Level 6 skills for all class skills

More skills for existing classes

New achievements

And much more!

Gears of War 4 is now available on Xbox One and Windows 10.
