Moonlighter Gets Amulets And New Game+ Mode In Its Adventure Update

If it's been a while since you dipped your toes in one of Moonlighter's dungeons (or the eponymous store), it might be time to give it another look. Digital Sun have released the second of four planned updates for their dungeon crawling/shopkeeping sim hybrid today. The Adventure Update introduces the much requested New Game+ mode, which has Will facing tougher enemies. As aid, a new set of Pirate Weapons has been introduced. The enchantable weaponry isn't the only addition, as Amulets are an entirely new item type that Will can now wear. Despite their name, they actually seem to be rings which provide benefits but also come with drawbacks.

The Adventure Update also makes it easier to sell items via the Quick-selling Mirror while also introducing a number of fixes. As for the Nintendo Switch version of Moonlighter, it is still slated for a November release. Although two more updates remain on Moonlighter's 2018 roadmap, the developer has stated that it also has "some secret plans for 2019", which will be announced at a later date.
