PC Physical Version of Halo Wars 2 Europe Exclusive

Back in January Microsoft partnered with THQ Nordic to release a physical PC version of Halo Wars 2, now the edition won't be releasing in the US.

343 Community Manager, Brian Jarrard, stated:

Earlier this month, you may have heard that we were partnering with our friends at THQ Nordic for worldwide availability of a physical retail version of Halo Wars 2 for Windows 10 PC. Since then, our retail plans have shifted and Microsoft has made the decision to focus the release of the physical retail version to Europe only. THQ Nordic is a great partner and they are working with us to ensure this transition remains smooth for our customers.

The Standard Edition will include the game and Xbox One's Play Anywhere feature for $59.99.

The Ultimate Edition cost $79.99 and comes with everything in the Standard Edition and:

4-day early access
Halo Wars Definitive Edtion
Halo Wars 2 Season Pass

Halo Wars 2 launches on February 21st for Xbox One and Windows 10. Ultimate edition owners will gain access 4 days early.
