PlayStation State of Play Leak: Event Coming Sooner Than Expected
New insider claims hint at multiple showcases, including a possible Wolverine-focused State of Play.

Today will continue with more PlayStation leaks, speculations, and news. Additionally, we will primarily be discussing two subjects. The first one is the current situation. An authoritative source has confirmed that the next State of Play will be released far in advance of June. Someone on the source's former account wanted to know whether they were going to host an Xbox leak/rumor show this week.
Their response is, "Yeah, We're planning for it this week." However, someone then asks, "Are you planning on doing something similar for PlayStation in the future?" To which they respond that they will consider doing something similar after the next State of Play. Someone comments, "June, question mark." They then say, "Should be well before that based on what We've heard, but haven't confirmed the date yet."

This is fascinating because we know that Sony always goes all out for a summer-focused State of Play.
People thought it was going to be their summer presentation instead. Plus, it always takes place in late May or early June. Not long after that, the source will publicly declare that the next State of Play is truly happening sooner than you think. Many have speculated that this is actually going to be a Wolverine State of Play because, in case you forgot, Insomniac has repeatedly said that spring is when we will see more Wolverine content.
Thus, it is evident that we are currently experiencing spring. Also, sources have been mentioning that Wolverine State of Play could happen at any moment. In one’s opinion, though, Sony will stick to its usual summer state of play and host a major event. This is clearly something they should do annually. The summer State of Play has always been a highlight for them.
Two stated plays that are very similar to each other could be the outcome here. This happens all the time. Many times, Sony has done this. Plus, before we go any further, it is important to point out that they have mentioned the possibility of doing a show solely focused on leaking information about upcoming PlayStation content, so it's safe to assume that we'll be receiving two distinct but complementary states of play.
Plus, they claim they'll be doing it immediately following State of Play. The source would be completely out of place if Sony were to have a regular State of Play event where they showcase numerous titles. Sony appears to be planning what appears to be back-to-back State of Play events. Wolverine has his own, and there are others that showcase both new first-party games and those developed by third parties. Hopefully that's the case. That sounds fantastic.

And hence, it is necessary to mention Saros as well.
Just so you know, we might even wind up having a Saros State play as well. The game is set to release at the month's end, so Sony has plenty of time to put on a special performance for it if they so desire. Next up, though, is the discussion of Cyberpunk 2077 and the Assassin's Creed Shadows support for the PlayStation 5 Pro and PlayStation VR, respectively.
To kick things off, for those who may have missed it, Cyberpunk 2077. For all PS5 Pro owners, there is a massive update coming out soon called PSSR 2.0 0 that will improve a lot of things, including the game's frame rate (up to 90 fps with VRR PSSR2), ray tracing capabilities (dynamic 4K increased), and three different modes.
Notably, Digital Foundry conducted an examination of this update and found it to be highly impressive, particularly with regard to the ray tracing. The results we're seeing here on the PS5 Pro are very remarkable, especially considering the size and complexity of Cyberpunk 2077. It's one of those games that really tests the capabilities of high-end PCs.
Whether or not anyone was going to go back to Cyberpunk 2077 to see the PS5 Pro update, in any case, Assassin's Creed Shadows received an update today, and that version added support for PSSR 2.0. Because of how fantastic Assassin's Creed Shadows was on the PS5 Pro, this deserves attention.
Well, gamers who were among the first to get a PS5 Pro say that the lighting on that console was truly revolutionary. Therefore, by incorporating 2.0 here, they will greatly improve upon what was before, looking excellent.
