From father to daughter, Spelunky 2 coming next year

Today Sony announced Spelunky 2 coming to PS4 and PC.
The trailer doesn't show any gameplay but confirms that the main character from the first game won't be the star this time. Instead, we see that the child of the protagonist from the first game will be featured as the next playable character.
Spelunky 2 launches in 2018.
