The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Receives Xbox One X Support; HDR Support Coming to PS4 Pro Soon

CD Projekt RED is updating their hit game, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, with an Xbox One X patch with a PS4 Pro patch coming soon.

After this update, the player can choose to play the game with 4K Mode and Performance Mode. 4K mode gives the game 4K resolution, or be supersampled if you aren’t playing on a 4K TV, enhanced shadows, ambient occlusion, and higher resolution textures, but only runs at 30FPS.

The performance patch renders the game at 1080p and 60 fps. Both modes include HDR support and can be changed through the game's Advanced menu.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is now available for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
