Xbox Showcase Confirmed For July 23rd
New Xbox presentation set for this month
News by Grayshadow on Jul 06, 2020
The Xbox Series X is the next major console from Microsoft but we've yet to see a price or release date despite the console's release set for this year. With the company hosting another presentation for July 23rd at 9 AM PT.
Hopefully, Microsoft has learned from their previous presentation. The last presentation was supposed to showcase games running on Xbox Series X but instead showed mostly cinematic trailers. One of the most disappointing trailers being from Ubisoft featuring Assassin's Creed Valhalla which features nearly no gameplay.
This would be the ideal time to reveal the Xbox Series X's price and release date. The system is set for a holiday release and we've yet to see a price. Rumors have surfaced of the core system costing $400 and a cheaper $300 model being offered. A November 2020 release was leaked by Microsoft's website but quickly taken down as well.
Microsoft has been leading the charge of this generation by revealing its console but Sony has done better despite showing their console months later. Revealing an array of exclusives along with the PS5 console such as Spider-Man Miles Morales, Horizon Forbidden West, Demon's Souls Remake, and more. So Microsoft needs to come with their A-game if they hope to give people a reason to purchase an Xbox Series X.
