Diablo IV: Lord of Hatred Guide | Poison Swarm Spiritborn Endgame Build

Use Poison Swarm, Perma-Evade, and Pestilent Swarms to clear endgame content fast with the Spiritborn.

The Poison Swarm Spiritborn build is a fast end-game build based on constant mobility, significant poison damage and great survivability. It uses Rushing Claw for near perpetual mobility, Pestilent Swarms for orbing poison damage and The Devourer to melt harder opponents and bosses. This build works best once the key items and Ferocity requirements are online.

How Perma-Evade Works

The core movement setup comes from Rushing Claw with the Evasive Swipe upgrade. This makes Rushing Claw count as an evade and allows it to be used without a target. To keep it running smoothly, you need 20 ranks of Ravager and a total of four minimum Ferocity.

Ravager increases your minimum Ferocity and the Ferocity Minimum upgrade completes the rest of the criteria. With this setup activated, you can continuously use Rushing Claw to dash through enemies and cover a lot of ground on the map.

Main Skills And Rotation

This build is about stacking poison damage from numerous sources. Use Rushing Claw to improve mobility, Ravager for generation and cooldown support, and spam Scourge to apply Vulnerable and improve poison pressure. Toxic Skin offers protection, applies Weaken and improves survivability in tough material.

Use The Devourer on cooldown, especially against bosses and tankier enemies. Counterattack should also be used often because the Counterattack Of The Swarm upgrade turns it into a Centipede skill that deals poison damage, applies Weaken, and sends out Pestilent Swarms.

Spirit Halls And Survivability

The build uses Gorilla, Centipede, and Eagle through Harmony Of Ebewaka. Gorilla is a great main Spirit Hall for barrier generation and durability. Eagle adds Vulnerable damage and crit chance to help the build scale damage while remaining fast.

Best Key Items For The Build

The most important item is Ring Of Writhing Moon, which creates orbiting Pestilent Swarms around you. These swarms deal strong poison damage and form the main damage engine of the build.

Harmony Of Ebewaka lets the build benefit from multiple Spirit Hall effects. Shattered Vow increases damage over time power and helps the build destroy poisoned enemies faster. Tyrael’s Might is a strong defensive option for keeping the Spiritborn alive in difficult endgame content.

Best Aspects And Talisman Setup

Aspect Of Pestilence and Aspect Of Infestation are highly recommended because they increase the power, size, and duration of Pestilent Swarms. These aspects should be treated as foundation pieces before fully committing to the build.

The Balor’s Might talisman set improves poison duration, weakens enemies, adds survivability, and allows poison effects to execute enemies. It also supports Scourge, which can greatly increase poison damage for a short window.

Starter And Endgame Progression

The starter version can use Stinger while the build is still coming together. As content becomes harder, Toxic Skin becomes more valuable because survival matters more than adding another damage skill. Once Ring Of Writhing Moon, Harmony Of Ebewaka, Aspect Of Pestilence, and Aspect Of Infestation are active, the build becomes much smoother and stronger for endgame farming.
