The Soldier Ant Egg serves as a quest item in Grounded 2 and requires you to go into the Anthill region in Grounded 2.

This mission presents significant challenges, particularly on normal difficulty and higher settings. The Ants in this area are robust and can easily kill you if you aren't ready.

Essential Preparation

Before you try to get into the Anthill, you need to make sure you have the right gear to survive. You need to create a Shield, the best way to protect yourself from Ant attacks.

Without this equipment, blocking attacks with weapons alone results in substantial damage, even with perfect timing on parries.

Ant parrying proves particularly challenging for new players due to the attack patterns of Ants in Grounded 2.

Gather Medical Supplies to sustain yourself during combat encounters. These items are essential for healing when you sustain damage from Ant attacks.

The Shield is still your primary defense tool, but extra armor and better weaponry can help you stay alive longer.

Getting to the Anthill

Find the Anthill on your map and walk up to the door. When you go inside, go to the Computer Terminal and turn left.

Follow the trail until you come to a ladder, turn left at this ladder and keep climbing straight.

The underground tunnel system is hard to navigate because it resembles a maze.

Underground Route

Follow the straight course through the tunnels until you reach a Fork in the road.

To keep going toward your destination, turn left at this intersection. Go around the curves while keeping an eye on what's going on around you.

Ants patrol these areas and will attack on sight in Grounded 2.

Reaching the Egg Chamber

Continue through the tunnel system until you discover a door on your left side. Ants cannot operate doors, providing you with a safe refuge if needed.

There is a Soldier Ant Egg in this chamber, but for some reason, you can't pick it up in Grounded 2.

To get to the main egg chamber, go straight through the tunnels. Go down to the lower section, where you can collect several Soldier Ant Eggs. You can only carry one egg at a time, so you can't collect as many eggs on each trip.

Egg Collection and Transport

Pick one of the Soldier Ant Eggs that are in the room. Once you get this item, you need to bring it back to your base and put it in the Hatchery.

You can't use a map because the place is underground. You have to remember where you are and look for landmarks in Grounded 2.

Safe Extraction

Be very careful when you leave the Anthill if Ants hit you while you're carrying the Soldier Ant Egg.

This weakness makes it hard for you to protect yourself well when carrying the egg. Getting rid of ants along your escape path makes sure you can safely get back to the surface.

Before you try to leave the underground area, make sure there are no Ants left in your way.
