The Ice Sickles are one of the most powerful Legendary Weapons in Grounded 2, offering different combat capabilities with their strong blade properties in Grounded 2.
From preparation to the final battle, this guide will take you step-by-step through the entire process of getting this endgame weapon.

Essential Preparation
You need to make specific preparations and gather a few necessary items before you can try to obtain the Ice Sickles.
You must first obtain the entire Fuzzy Armor Set, which requires killing bees to get the necessary materials.
Throughout the map, bees can be found in a variety of places. The top of a particular rock formation is a good place for them to spawn because that is where they often land during the day in Grounded 2.
Additionally, you should gather Lingon Berries from the locations where they are known to congregate. You can use these berries as craft supplies for your preparation.
Additionally, concentrate on gathering Spicy Shards, as they are essential for surviving in the frigid environment.
There are several of these shards inside the Toxic Anthill, two at the top of a Trash Can, and a box by the Ice Cream Cart area, among other Containers.
You will need Spicy Shards often throughout your journey, so gather as many as you can.

Key Bindings and Combat Setup
Set up your hotbar by binding Spicy Shards to a quick-access key using the Z button or equivalent controller input in Grounded 2.
This allows rapid consumption during combat without opening your inventory, which is essential when you are freezing and under attack.
Although they might use the same ingredients and not be as effective as Spicy Shards, consider making warming drinks instead.
To enter the hidden areas, you must have the Omnihammer Level Two crafted and prepared.
If you don't have any Omnihammer Level Two crafting supplies, find what you're missing and collect it before continuing.
Accessing the Ice Cream Cart Area
Navigate to the Ice Cream Cart location and climb on top of the structure. From this position, you can choose your approach route.
The right path leads to an Optical Disk and a Frostbitten Key, both of which connect to a Chest located in the same area where you will find the Ice Sickles.
Be aware that Scorpions inhabit this area and pose a significant threat.
If you plan to use ranged combat strategies, bring a Bow with plenty of Arrows. Having adequate ammunition makes the upcoming encounters much more manageable than relying solely on melee combat in Grounded 2.

Breaking Through to Secret Areas
Use your Omnihammer Level Two to break the iceicles blocking the mechanism.
This releases the gears and activates the fan blade, opening the first secret room. With 500 Science Points, this room is essential to your progress.
Locate the secret hole in the science room that holds a Mega Milk Molar, then descend into it.
Once you have this item, turn around to locate the hidden passageway that takes you further into the complex.
The Ice Sickles are waiting in the last chamber, which is reached via this passage.
Remember that if you have already acquired the Frostbitten Key, the matching Chest is located here.
To remove this chest from the ground, you'll need a Level Two Shovel in Grounded 2.
The Event of the Scorpion Wave
You are going to encounter one of the most challenging encounters in the area, so save your game before you enter the last chamber.
A wave-based spawn event made up only of Scorpions protects the Ice Sickles. Patience, skill, and effective resource management are necessary for this encounter.
Numerous waves of Scorpions, including small and large varieties, are produced by the event. Because of their high damage output and venomous attacks, larger Scorpions pose the biggest threat.
Timing and prevention are essential for survival because the venom effect inhibits healing.

How to Fight Scorpions
Put more emphasis on aggressive play than defensive positioning. Instead of waiting for Scorpions to approach you, actively pursue them as they emerge in Grounded 2.
Watch for ground tremors that indicate emerging Scorpions and move toward these locations immediately. Engaging them as they surface prevents multiple enemies from overwhelming you simultaneously.
Learn when to parry a Scorpion attack. Perfect parries followed by immediate counterattacks can stun larger Scorpions, creating opportunities for sustained damage.
Scorpions become momentarily invulnerable when they burrow underground, so take advantage of this opportunity to move or attack other targets.
Give larger Scorpions priority over smaller ones because the latter inflict less damage than the former.
They can still affect your positioning and movement, so don't completely disregard them.
Resource Management in Combat
Regularly consuming Spicy Shards will help you maintain your body temperature and speed of movement.
The cold environment is constantly draining your warmth, and hypothermia has a significant negative influence on your ability to fight in Grounded 2.
Use Bandages proactively rather than reactively, especially before engaging venomous Scorpions, since venom prevents healing item usage.
During extended interactions, pay special attention to your endurance. Running out of energy during critical situations, particularly when dealing with multiple large Scorpions, is often the cause of death.
To keep your stamina reserves adequate, plan your attacks and dodges.
The Last Wave
During the last part of the event, two large Scorpions—often with more minor variations—appear simultaneously. This is the most dangerous part of the interaction.
Target one large Scorpion at a time while maintaining an aggressive stance, making sure the target is as far away from the surrounding area as feasible in Grounded 2.
You can eventually gather the Ice Sickles once you've conquered every wave. By chilling adversaries, these fabled cold blades—forged from Mint Globs—offer remarkable combat capabilities.
The weapon is very effective against a variety of enemy types because of its unique features and quick attack speed.

Extra Benefits and Exit
If you have the Frostbitten Key, locate and dig the matching chest for additional rewards.
Use the available exit mechanisms to safely return to the surface when you're ready to depart.
The Ice Sickles will be a powerful addition to your arsenal for future fights throughout Grounded 2.
