Hollow Knight: Silksong Guide | How to Get the Multibinder Tool
Here's a guide on how to get the Multibinder tool in Hollow Knight: Silksong.

One of the biggest combat mechanics in Hollow Knight: Silksong is Hornet's binding, which requires you to collect silk, a sort of holy essence in the game. There are several abilities that can aid in the binding process; one of these is the Multibinder tool.

In this guide, I will help you find the Multibinder
What You Will Need to Get Multibinder
It requires you to complete a quest to unlock the Multibinder. You have to farm rosaries to purchase them from an NPC at a specific shop. This guide walks you step-by-step through the entire process, from the courier quest to buying and using the Multibinder effectively.
Where You Need to Go
Your journey begins in Bellhart, a central hub for trade and quests. Initially, you will find all the inhabitants trapped, but playing further in the game allows you to free them, giving you new NPCs to interact with.
When you first arrive in the area after freeing all the NPCs, you will find the shops limited in stock, but as you progress in the game, you will notice that new quests and interactions expand what merchants have to offer. To unlock the Multibinder tool specifically, you must complete the "Missing Courier" quest.
This quest becomes available after speaking with the Bellhart shopkeeper once you have rescued the people of the town and have unlocked the quest board.
On the board, you will find a quest for a courier who hasn't returned. Accept this quest, and it will mark the beginning of the route you are supposed to follow to get the Multibinder.

Starting from Bellhart, you need to head left through Shellwood, an area overgrown with brushes filled with twisting passages and hostile insects. Continue until you reach a long drop that takes you into Bone Bottom, a partially buried settlement that appears midway through the map.
From here, you have to descend to Bone Bottom. The route involves multiple platforms and drop-downs. You have to drop once, continue left, drop again, and keep following the downward path until you have reached a chamber almost halfway down the area.
Here you will find the courier trapped, being guarded by two insect enemies. Defeat the guardians, and after that, you can speak to the courier, who will complete the quest.
Now you can return to Bellhart, where you can purchase new blue tools from the Bellhart vendor's inventory – this includes the Multibender tool.
But just unlocking the Multibinder is not enough—you will also need the rosaries to pay for it. The Multibinder costs 880 rosaries, which is actually quite a large sum at this stage in the game, as most enemies do not drop more than 15-20 rosaries.
If you don't have enough saved up, you will need to farm them to collect them. One efficient farming method I can suggest is located in the area known as The Marrow, which is accessible after defeating the Bellbeast boss. From the Bellbeast's arena, head left and down; here you will find a bench to rest, which you will need to respawn enemies.
If you haven't explored this area, you will find a door blocking your path. To proceed, take the alternate path to the right and loop back to the left to activate a switch located right above the bench, which unlocks the door.
Once opened, you will find a spot where enemies spawn in a room right above the bench to the left; here, you will find four small enemies that require a few hits and drop around 10-20 rosaries, which is a fair amount and will allow you to gather the required amount quickly by repeating this loop for around 20 minutes.
Most players can gather between 900 and 1,000 rosaries, more than enough for the Multibinder.
With the rosaries secured, return to the vendor at Bellhart. When you speak to the vendor again, you will see that his stock of items has expanded and now includes the Multibinder. You can purchase it using the rosaries you've farmed, then head to a bench to equip it to your Blue Tools menu.
When you have it equipped, the Multibinder changes the way Hornet's binding mechanic works: instead of a single bind for the entire soul meter that heals three masks, you can now heal in two consecutive pulses, assuming your silk meter is full, which restores a total of four masks depending on her maximum health.
But this comes with a cost, as it causes the bind animation to take longer to complete, which leaves you open to attacks for a slightly longer time.

This creates an interesting risk–reward system. On one hand, you gain more healing per bind, which is incredibly useful during drawn-out battles or when bosses hit for multiple masks of damage.
On the other hand, the longer bind animation can be punished if you attempt to heal without creating a safe distance.
The key to using the Multibinder effectively is timing your heals when you've staggered an enemy, opened a window after a boss attack pattern, or otherwise secured enough breathing room to complete the full animation.
The Multibinder also shines when paired with other tools. For instance, there are Blue Tools that reduce or negate damage while binding, making the Multibinder's longer cast time much less risky.
If you combine these upgrades, you will find that you can reliably heal large chunks of health in tense encounters without being punished for the slower binding speed.
Overall, the Multibinder proves itself to be one of the most useful tools you can get if you value sustained survivability over quicker healing. Although it takes a longer time to bind, the pros are apparent: more heals that can shift the tide in a boss fight.
The steps may be a little tedious—tracking down the courier, farming hundreds of rosaries, and returning to Bellhart—but the reward is well worth it.

By securing the Multibinder, you'll dramatically increase Hornet's endurance and give yourself a stronger safety net in some of the most punishing fights that Silksong has to offer.
