While death in Solarpunk is not the end of the world, there are a few steps to take to get back on your feet and recover what you've lost. This guide covers where you'll respawn, how to get your ship back, and how to find your dropped loot.

Place a Spawn Point Before Trouble Hits

When traveling to an area that seems unsafe, it's a good idea to construct a small 3x3 shelter and place a Bed inside before trouble strikes. If you set your spawn point there, you will be closer to where you were than to your main base.

Where You Respawn

If you haven't set a custom spawn point, you'll come back to your main base after dying. Your loot will appear near the point where you last saved the game, which could be where you actually died or not.

Recalling Your Airship

After respawn, the first thing to do is go to the Airship Station and call your Airship. Once you do that, it will automatically return to you. Then jump back in and fly out to where you died.

Recovering Your Loot

After returning to the air, search for a chest marker on the island where you died. That marker will tell you where your loot has dropped. Go to it, pick it up and you're on your way.
