S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl Guide | 15 Weapon Upgrade & Armor Blueprint Locations

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl is a sequel that carries the legacy of the previous games and goes a notch higher than what an open-world survival game can offer. It was developed in extremes, as it is a work of art and a shield of GSC Game World. Having already uncovered all the unique weapons and armor, I’m now exploring weapon attachments and upgrades scattered throughout the game. These items are considerably harder to find. This video showcases 15 upgrades, primarily located in the first few zones. Let’s get started.

1. Protective Coating (SEVA Suit)

Found in the Death Cave in Cordon.

2. High-Capacity AR416 System Magazine

Located in the driver’s seat of the train in Cordon. (Already picked up in my playthrough.)

3. Counterweight Blueprint (Kharod)

Found near the building at the Outer Checkpoint in the northern part of Cordon.

4. High-Capacity PTM Magazine (Missable)

Missable item (another location will be mentioned later). Found inside the soldier’s quarters under the sphere in the Lesser Zone during the Seven Seals mission. This location becomes inaccessible after the mission.

5. High-Capacity AKM-74s/Dnipro Magazine

Found inside a backpack at the end of the tunnel, behind metal bars. Part of the Stalker’s Hidden Stash during the Escape for the Seven Seals mission in the Lesser Zone.

6. High-Capacity Viper-5 Magazine

Located in a duffel bag behind destructible boxes in the Radiation Hazard Sign Storage, Lesser Zone.

7. High-Capacity PTM Magazine

Found on a table in an unmarked building west of the Northern Checkpoint in the Lesser Zone.

8. Tactical Pistol Suppressor (UDP, M10)

Located in a backpack on the roof of a house in the Poppy Fields.

9. High-Capacity M10 Magazine

Found inside a chest at the Hydroelectric Station in Garbage.

10. Return Mechanism Sleeve Tightener (Integral A)

Found on a body in the underground section of the Hydroelectric Station.

11. Rubber Layer (M10 Gordon)

Located on the roof above the entrance to the Iron Gate in Northern Garbage.

12. Sewn-On Pockets

Found in the Trailer Dump on the west side of Yantar.

13. High-Capacity Magazine (Saiga D12)

Located inside the kitchen of the shopping mall in Prat.

14. Rubber Layer Blueprint

Rewarded for siding with Ninth during The Lost Boys side mission.

15. Airtight Polyethylene Lining (Bulwark Exosuit)

Found inside a safe in the Dusty Cable Tunnels, Red Forest. This area becomes accessible during a main mission.

These locations should help you locate some of the harder-to-find attachments and upgrades.
