In S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, there are various armor sets available, and this guide will walk you through obtaining the SEVA-D suit. To acquire it, you’ll need to travel from the Lesser Zone to Garbage. Where you’ll start from the Slag Heap, the main base in the area.
Navigating to the Cement Factory
From the Slag Heap, make your way to the Cement Factory, specifically the large construction building with a crane. On the map, this location is marked as Cage.
The area is visually disorienting, so pay close attention to your surroundings. Your objective is to climb to the very top of this structure.
Climbing the Building
Begin ascending by using stairs and walking along thin poles. Some areas will require sprint jumps, so be cautious to avoid falling.
Look for available paths leading upward, and proceed carefully through the building. At one point, you’ll encounter a ladder—climb it carefully, as a fall could be fatal.
As you continue, you’ll need to jump across a gap. Save your game before attempting this jump to avoid losing progress.
After crossing the gap, crouch through a narrow space and continue climbing until you reach the roof.
The weird visual effects in the region would fade away after you've ascended to the rooftop. Here, you'll find many items like the SEVA-D suit. Aside from that, you should also grab the limited-edition energy drinks found here. Use your knife to smash open any crates to garner possible med kits or ammo.
Getting Back Down
Instead of retracing your steps, look for a gap with an Anomaly below. Jump into the Anomaly, which will safely bounce you back to the ground. This method avoids the dangers of descending the construction site manually.
Inspecting and Upgrading the SEVA-D Suit
Go to the Slag Heap and check out the SEVA-D suit it offers. It includes three artifact containers and is stronger than common suits. Move artifacts from your old suit to the SEVA-D suit to enjoy its extra slots.
Visit Diode, the technician at the Slag Heap Repair, and upgrade your suit modifications, which can add even more artifact containers. Further, the SEVA-D suit is the first armor set that allows you to incorporate a lead container. This frees you from the radiation damage caused by artifacts.
This is how you can get the SEVA-D suit and upgrade it in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl. It is a fantastic, strong armor with great protection and customization options, a necessity for late-game exploration.
