Game Guide by Imdeadfrfr on  Jun 06, 2026

Your party enters the deepest chamber of the Astral Energy Convergence Zone, where your revolutionary journey across the divided worlds of Dahna and Rena reaches its absolute climax. In the center of this surreal realm is the Great Astral Spirit, a terrifying physical embodiment of Rena’s parasitic, concentrated dark energy. This final boss is the culmination of your campaign and will require you to use every combat mechanic, elemental advantage and survival strategy you have learned.

This boss fight is a grueling multi-staged gauntlet that will test your tactical endurance unlike previous lord encounters, or large zeugle skirmishes. There will be no chance to rest at a campfire or replenish your supplies between the clearly defined stages of the encounter. Players will need to be extremely adept at conserving resources, coordinating between companions, and exploiting elemental weaknesses to overcome this celestial horror in a handful of distinctly different combat scenarios.

Important Pre-Battle Tasks and Items

If you charge straight into the final planetary core without fully optimizing your party’s loadouts, you will inevitably be defeated in a devastating and frustrating fashion. Make sure all active members of your party are equipped with the highest tier of forged weapons available before going beyond the ultimate point of no return. Your front-line fighters need the best defensive armor that you can get from the surrounding dungeon chests to survive against the boss's apocalyptic damage output.

More than basic stats, it will be your choice and creation of defensive accessories that will determine your overall chance to survive the spirit’s constant magic. The entity is pure dark astral energy, so it’s practically mandatory to deck out your entire team with accessories that reduce dark elemental damage. Alternatively, giving your primary spellcasters artifacts that heavily buff light-attributed damage will drastically speed up your overall offensive pacing.

Inventory Audit and Resource Management

The most important single tactical discipline required to survive this grueling multi-phase encounter is managing your party’s shared Cure Points pool. You will be fighting different boss forms back to back, so you want to make sure you have a stacked inventory of the best recovery consumables. Use any leftover gald to buy a huge stash of Pineapple Gels, Orange Gels and Life Bottles, to recover from any sudden party wipes.

You should also bring a full set of Panacea Bottles to cure the various debilitating status ailments the spirit will constantly inflict. If you have been able to save up any rare Omega Elixirs during your campaign, now is the time to finally use them in this ultimate battle. If you only use Shionne’s magic healing and don’t actively supplement it with flat-recovery items, then you’ll burn through all your resources before you even get to the final stage.

The Best Party for the Final Trial

Given the Great Astral Spirit’s unique elemental properties and erratic movement patterns, a highly specialized and calculated team composition is a must. For this grueling sequence, your best active four-man roster is Alphen, Shionne, Rinwell and the martial artist Law. This particular party has a perfect balance of aggressive up-close pressure, reliable area healing, and devastating long-range light magic.

The Great Astral Spirit has a critical math weakness to light astral energy, so Rinwell is literally the crux of your offensive strategy. Go into your strategy menu before the fight and disable all of her non-light elemental artes manually. It'll make the A.I. much more streamlined. Looping high tier radiant spells like Holy Lance and Divine Streak on her guarantees a constant massive stream of critical damage.

Rinwell is the general of the offensive backline, and Shionne is to be strictly defined as your hyper-vigilant primary healer to maintain party stability. Set her behavioral logic to fire group recovery spells at the exact millisecond that any character's health drops below a comfortable seventy percent threshold. Alphen and Law will be your aggressive frontline anchors, constantly harassing the boss with high-speed physical hits to generate boost gauge energy.

The Giant’s Dark Magic and Phase One

At the moment the battle truly begins the Great Astral Spirit appears in the form of a giant, stationary body of pure swirling darkness. The boss has no traditional mobility, but an incredibly wide reach, easily sweeping the entire combat arena with its massive sweeping tendrils. Right away it will start bombarding your party with tight clusters of dark energy projectiles and wide area-of-effect shockwaves.

To damage this massive manifestation efficiently, you must concentrate all of your physical targeting on the glowing spherical cores embedded within its dark mass. If you hit these specific weak points, Alphen’s fast sword strikes and Law’s heavy martial strikes will deal a ton of posture damage all at once. Don't pay attention to glowing nodes and just attack the main body. If you do, damage numbers will be greatly reduced and the first phase will take longer than it needs to.

You need to be acutely aware of the boss's subtle physical telegraphs and shifting animations as you execute your grounded combos. When he raises his huge arms, or starts glowing in a deep purple color, the giant spirit is preparing for a terrible slam that affects the whole arena. Perform a perfectly timed dodge roll to trigger a Perfect Evade and gain a brief window of absolute invincibility to survive the incoming blast.

Breaking the Cores and Remaining Hidden

Just keep attacking the glowing nodes with the opposite element light attack and your party will fill its boost gauges quickly to the max. If a core receives sufficient levels of concentrated physical and magical damage, it will violently shatter and enter the valuable Core Break state. This causes the big thing to fall down onto the arena floor for a while, totally helpless, and unable to do anything for a good period of time.

You should take advantage of these short grounded windows to unleash Alphen’s most devastating health-sacrificing techniques of Blazing Sword. Then, unleashing his most powerful fiery artes directly into the exposed broken core, he will rip huge chunks of health from the spirit's main gauge. Combine this violent physical assault with Rinwell’s constant light magic to fully overpower the creature’s immense defensive limit.

Astral Minion Intermission Survival

After you manage to drain the giant's first health bar, the boss will vanish for a while and dramatically alter the state of the battlefield. While it recovers, the Great Astral Spirit will summon forth a wave of high level manifestations of elemental power to serve as aggressive interference. You will have to fight several elite enemies simultaneously, which makes for a very chaotic and visually overwhelming combat scenario.

These summoned minions are very dangerous and if left to roam freely in the arena, can easily stunlock your spellcasters. To survive this frantic intermission, you need to immediately group the targets together by taking control of Alphen and baiting their physical aggression. Tell Rinwell to unleash her huge area clearing stored spells when they are gathered tightly in the center of the room.

Combining her active water or wind spells into advanced tier spells such as Tidal Wave or Cyclone will rapidly melt down the minions’ shared health pools. Don’t waste precious time trying to duel these secondary enemies individually, as their high damage output can quickly drain your vital Cure Points. Depend entirely on massive collateral magic to clear the battlefield and prepare for the next vital phase of the confrontation.

The True Form of the Subsumer Stage Two

If it loses its elemental guardians, the remaining dark astral energy will violently condense into a much smaller highly deadly humanoid form. This new incarnation is the Subsumer, the true distilled will of the dying Earth. This form totally discards the slow, stationary nature of the first phase for blinding speed and relentless physical aggression.

The Subsumer will zip around the arena throwing out quick melee combos and chasing down dark magic blasts from impossible angles. At this stage, attempting to blindly force an extended offensive combo is a very dangerous roll of the dice that will frequently result in a quick party wipe. You have to switch immediately to a very disciplined, defensive game, just running around in big circles and waiting for clear-cut opportunities.

Take your time to closely observe the Subsumer's very erratic attack patterns so that your backline can safely focus on healing and long-range light magic. Wait for the humanoid boss to go through its long sequence of multi-hit dark energy combos, then jump in and counterattack. The only real way to chip away at its armor without taking fatal damage is to rely on perfect dodge rolls and fast Counter Edge strikes.

Black Hole Arts and Over Limit Cut Off

Of course, as you drive the Subsumer to its knees, it will shriek in fury, unleashing a terrifying Over Limit state. A blazing dark aura will surround its body making its natural hyper-armor completely unbreakable and greatly reducing its magical casting times. During this chaotic rush of power the boss will often try to summon large black holes across the entire screen, sucking your party members into the center.

These localized gravity wells deal constant, catastrophic damage, and will easily wipe out your AI companions if they don't get out of the radius. As soon as you see the large purple circles indicating the cast under the boss, you need to step in and save your team right away. Use Rinwell’s special Boost Attack to forcibly steal the dark incantation to nullify the black hole, stunning the Subsumer immediately.

If you don’t have Rinwell’s gauge fully charged up during these critical casting windows, you have no choice but to have your entire team retreat. Open the strategy menu and force your companions to play a strict keep-away game, so they will have to prioritize running rather than attacking. Watch Shionne’s health bar like a hawk and use your quick-items menu to manually feed her gels so she can make it through to fight another day in the magical onslaught.

Delivering the Final Cinematic Blow

After going through the grueling, chaotic storm of its Over Limit abilities, the Subsumer will finally start to show signs of severe physical fatigue. This momentary exhaustion offers you the ultimate chance to capitalize on its vulnerability and secure a hard-fought victory for the liberation of Dahna. Coordinate your other ally Boost Gauges with Alphen’s blazing blade assaults to keep the weakened being in a full, unbreakable stagger loop.

Your entire party of active members pours their strongest light-elemental resources into the fading frame, again and again, and the end of the harrowing battle is near. The floating blue crosshair diamond right above the boss will fill up quickly in this final desperate barrage. As soon as you see the Strike prompt on your screen, hit the corresponding directional pad prompt to execute your cinematic finishing move.

This last blow is a spectacular one that will break the concentrated darkness for good and mark the official end to the most grueling mechanical sequence of the game. Defeating the Great Astral Spirit is a momentous milestone that proves your absolute mastery of evasive timing, tactical patience and elemental coordination. With the planetary will repressed, the scene is now perfectly set for the real, intimate climax of the story against your ultimate sovereign rival.
