Yakuza 0 Director's Cut Guide | How to Get Telephone Club Girls

Here’s a guide on how to get Telephone Club Girls in Yakuza 0 Director's Cut.

Game Guide by TauxicPandA on  Jun 13, 2026

The Telephone Club minigame is essential if you want to clear every unique side mission in the game. Every girl you speak with is directly tied to the specific color of the swimsuit that appears in the background during gameplay.

There are three swimsuit colors in total, each featuring three different girls. However, all three swimsuit colors share one specific girl who leads to the identical failure mission.

This setup creates a grand total of seven individual substories for you to collect. Out of these seven missions, three lead to successful dates, while the remaining four result in comedic failures.

The Girls and Swimsuit Colors

To complete your mission log, you need to know which girl belongs to which background color and which specific substory they trigger in Yakuza 0 Director's Cut.

Blue Swimsuit Background

If the background shows a blue swimsuit, you are talking to one of three girls. Riku leads to a successful date called The Innocent Hook-up. When you eventually go to meet her outside the theater, you must select the dialogue option Girl in Front to succeed.

Mirei triggers a failure mission called Verbal Warning. Asakura triggers the generic failure mission called Sakura Shock.

White Swimsuit Background

A white swimsuit background features another trio of individuals. Ayaka gives you a successful date called The Sexy Hook-Up. To trigger this success when you arrive at the meeting spot, first choose Move in for a better look and then select Farther Woman.

Maria leads to a failure scenario called The Predator's Call. Sakurako will trigger the generic Sakura Shock failure mission.

Green Swimsuit Background

When the background turns green, you are dealing with the final group. Haruki rewards you with a successful date called The Flirty Hook-Up. When you go out to meet her by the theater, make sure to pick the option Far Girl to finish it properly.

Sayuri gives you a failure mission titled A Mother's Touch. Finally, Sakurai triggers the Sakura Shock failure mission.

Keep in mind that you only need to trigger Sakura Shock a single time to get credit for the upgrade points in Yakuza 0 Director's Cut.

Even though you can encounter three different versions of this character across the different colors, meeting the different lookalikes will not change the outcome or give you different rewards.

Finding the Right Girl

Matching with the exact person you want involves a lot of random chance. However, you can tilt the odds in your favor by paying close attention to the quick-time event that pops up right before the minigame officially begins.

When the phone rings, a prompt appears on your screen to pick up the receiver. The speed of this prompt changes, and the reaction time directly influences the type of person waiting on the line.

If you hit the prompt at its absolute fastest speed, which lasts for roughly two seconds, you are highly likely to land a successful date. A medium-speed prompt usually pairs you with one of the lookalikes for the Sakura date.

The slowest prompt speed typically connects you with one of the standard failed dates. Remember that you actually need to trigger the failures to unlock their specific substories, so do not ignore the slower prompts if you are going for total completion.

If you are only hunting for the successes, simply ignore the calls until you get the fastest window in Yakuza 0 Director's Cut.

You can also try to identify who is calling by listening closely to the tone of their voice, as every character uses a distinct voice track.

If you recognize a voice that you have already completed or want to avoid, you can immediately press LB to hang up the phone.

Utilizing the hang-up button saves you an immense amount of time and allows you to quickly cycle through calls until you find the exact color and person you need.
