In Animal Crossing: New Horizons (ACNH), you can find Kapp'n, a green turtle that offers exclusive boat excursions to islands. This guide provides information on the islands that can be visited, how to take a boat tour, and where to find him.
Kapp'n and his boat tours were recently introduced in the extensive Version 2.0 Update, which was released on November 3rd. To fully experience them, your copy of Animal Crossing: New Horizons must be fully updated.
What Are Kapp'n Boat Tours In Animal Crossing?
Kapp'n Boat Tours provides a novel approach to exploring the unique and enigmatic islands of Animal Crossing: New Horizons from afar, which is distinct from the mystery islands that Dodo Airline has been able to transport you to since its inception.
New special items not present on your home island, such as new varieties of flora, such as vines and bushes, are frequently available on these brand new mysterious islands. We also have a hunch that there may be novel fruit varieties, although this has not yet been verified.
How To Take Kapp'n Boat Tours & Visit Islands
In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, you can embark on a boat excursion with Kapp'n by visiting the Pier on your island, which is located in the bottom left or bottom right corner of the map, depending on the layout.
Simply approach Kapp'n on the Pier, and he will request a nominal fee of 1,000 Nook Miles currency for a round-trip to an enigmatic island. You are not required to acquire Nook Miles Tickets for Kapp'n.
Note that Kapp'n can only be used to set sail for a mystery island once per in-game day. Naturally, players who are impatient may utilize time travel to advance in the game.
Kapp'n Island Materials
While exploring the Mystery Islands that Kapp'n leads you to in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, you may come across novel materials and flora that have never been seen before. This is due to the introduction of several highly anticipated new products on the Kapp'n Boat Tour Islands.
Vines
Vines are a novel and highly beneficial item that can be discovered on the Kapp'n Islands. They can be affixed to the cliffs of your island to facilitate ascent, essentially serving as a more visually appealing alternative to a traditional staircase.
