Dead Space Remake Guide | All Chapter 9 Collectibles Locations

As you progress through Dead Space Remake Chapter 9, it will be very easy to miss out on some of the collectibles in certain locations. This guide will walk you through where to find each item in this chapter.

Log #1 Orders

Once you make your way through the barracks from the start of the chapter, you will be able to go into a hallway and through a door at the end. Inside that door, you will find a room with a table in the center. 

On the table, you will find a little text log. Additionally, there will be a second audio log next to a corpse lying on the ground by the second door in this room. That is the first log.

Log #2 Alien Boarders

Head down to the right next to the corpse, and you will notice the second door is right on the other side of him. There will be a node on the opposite side of that door, so go in and grab it. 

You may notice that this little area you are about to enter is right next to where you started—you just basically made a circle back to the starting room. Now, backtrack a little and head toward the shooting range.

TROPHY: Front Toward Enemy

The shooting range offers a trophy opportunity. Follow the signs to the Armory. One door is there, and another is nearby. Go straight back, and you will arrive at the shooting gallery.

There is a trophy you can earn here. To get it, you only need to survive. You do not have to worry about points or scores. The only enemies you need to deal with are the ones attacking you—you do not even need to hit the orange targets. The entire process takes less than a minute, making it a fairly easy trophy: "Front Toward Enemy."

In this same room, there is also a node inside a locker. Find the bank of lockers, open them all, and one will contain the node.

Schematic: Large Med Pack (Not required)

Next, head to a schematic. Go back into the next room, but instead of heading into the hallway, go toward the infirmary through the second door in this room. Across the hall, you will find the infirmary. On the desk inside, there is a schematic. 

You do not have to pick this one up for the Platinum trophy. You do need to collect all other schematics, but this particular one does not count toward the "All Schematics" trophy. If you pick it up, you will pop the trophy early, provided you have already collected all the others.

Node

Now, head toward the cargo bay, which is the next-story objective area. You will find a node on the body of an enemy from a group you kill. As you proceed to the other end, you will trigger an encounter with multiple enemies, culminating in a battle with the Brew.

Final Node

The final collectible in Chapter 9, which is not story-related, can be found in the fire area. You will get a couple more logs, but as for collectibles you need to pick up, this is the last one. In this section, use the small boxes to block the fire. 

This part can be tricky—you need to cross without getting burned. Look to the right and pull a box toward yourself. This section is all the way to the other end. 

Hold the box to block the fire. If you do not get it right the first time, keep trying. Once you successfully block the fire and cross, you will have completed this section.
