When entering the arena, you might be teleported in the middle of a boss fight in Doom: The Dark Ages. Scan the area, try to find as much ammo as possible, and use the right weapon for the boss fight.

Gathering Supplies

Begin by looking for ammo scattered throughout the arena. Dodge the boss's attacks while running in circles looking for ammo. You don't want to lose your health bar before engaging with the boss. With enough ammo on hand, prepare to go into battle in Doom: The Dark Ages.

Choosing The Right Weapon

You can choose any weapon you like, but using a gun with maximum damage output in Doom: The Dark Ages is highly recommended. You can use the Impaler. Damage per hit with the Impaler is much greater than that of weapons like Accelerator. You'll also need your shield for this boss fight.

Taking Down The Boss

When engaging with the boss in Doom: The Dark Ages, dodge its attack by running in circles. Don't get close to the boss, since you have ranged weapons. Keep going in circles around the boss and Parry its Green Cluster Bombs with your shield. You can deflect the Cluster Bombs back at the Boss.

You'll notice that the Boss's health bar will not go down initially. You'll see a purple bar beneath the health bar of the Boss. You need to keep hitting the Boss with your weapons and with its Cluster Bombs to fill the purple bar. Once the purple bar reaches maximum, the boss will be immobilised. This is your chance to hit the boss with your best weapon. The boss's health bar will go down during this phase.

You'll have a limited time frame when the boss is immobilised. The purple bar will again go down, and you'll have to refill it to make the boss immobilised again.

Repeat this process until the boss's health bar is drained to win the boss fight.

This is a relatively easy boss fight in Doom: The Dark Ages. One thing you need to keep in mind before engaging this boss is to maintain a safe distance from the boss, time your dodges, parry the cluster bombs and use them to your advantage, and hit the boss with your hardest hitting weapon when the boss is immobilised.
