You start Mission 13 (From Beyond) with a mandatory cutscene aboard the Mecca Dragon. As soon as you gain control, open your menu and pin the two available mission challenges. One challenge requires you to perform five perfect dodges, and the other asks you to chase and destroy two Hell Fighters. Both are relatively easy to complete.

As soon as you exit the bay, look slightly to the left to find your first Hell Cruiser. Land some perfect dodges and take it out. You can easily complete your dodge challenge right away. After that, move slightly left and around a corner to locate a second ship. The game mechanics require perfect dodges for meaningful damage, so this challenge is basically unmissable.

Once you destroy both Hell Cruisers, take down the nearby tentacle arm wrapped around one of the towers. This gets you off to a strong start in the mission.

Optional Landing and Demonic Essence Upgrade

After clearing the opening section, a mission marker may guide you to an optional landing area. Land there to find one of the bosses that gives you a demonic essence upgrade. Check your map to confirm the location.

While you're here, focus on your Cycler and Shredder weapon masteries. With the Cycler, just keep firing to charge your target. When they're charged, finishing them off with melee or the Cycler will cause the energy to arc between enemies, progressing your mastery.

This is a morale boss, so make sure you take out all surrounding enemies before focusing on the boss itself. When finished, grab your Reaver ammo upgrade and loop around the arena to top off health and armor. Use your shield charge to exit. Once outside, your dragon will catch you mid-air, and a Hell Fighter ship will spawn directly in front of you.

Mid-Mission Ship Chase and Tentacle Clearing

Start sprinting with your left stick and give chase to the ship. Try to cut corners to catch it faster. If you don't succeed right away, the ship will likely start circling, giving you another chance to destroy it.

As you approach the next inner area, you'll encounter another tentacle. Perform a couple of perfect dodges to eliminate it. Once that's done, another Hell Fighter appears. Destroying this one completes your second mission challenge.

Head toward the map's center and follow your mission marker into a pit. As you descend, you'll spot more Hell Fighter ships. You don't have to destroy them, but following them leads you in the right direction.

At the bottom of the pit, locate and eliminate the final tentacle arm. This also puts you in a position to close the final portal. With all three mission challenges complete, you're almost finished.

Final Objective and Armor Upgrade

At the top of the central tower, a squid-like enemy is waiting. Perform at least two perfect dodges to charge your weapon, then take it down. This lowers the shield at the summit of the tower and allows you to land there.

Prepare for a final wave of enemies. Among them is a leader with a morale shield. You'll need to defeat the surrounding smaller enemies to break the morale shield and take down the leader.

Keep working on your Cycler mastery during this fight. The goal is to arc electricity through as many enemies as possible. While you won't finish this mastery in one mission, you can make strong progress. The next mission includes two Wraith Stones, offering more chances to progress your weapon upgrades.

When you defeat the leader, a Revenant will respawn the remaining enemies, and you'll earn a demonic essence upgrade to raise your maximum armor to 110. This ends the level and launches the final cutscene. You'll then see your chapter completion screen with full 100% progress.
