Resident Evil 4 Guide | All Chapter 2 Collectible Locations

There are 16 chapters in Resident Evil 4, and in all of them, you need to collect certain items in order to progress throughout the story. This guide will show you how to collect every collectible in Chapter 2 of Resident Evil 4.

Item 1: Treasure Sapphire

Once you are at the Abandoned factory, find the oven on your left; inside the oven, you will find Sapphire.

Pest Control: Merchant Quest

Now, from the abandoned factory, you will enter the valley area. When you enter the valley, you will notice a shopkeeper on the right. Speak with him soon, but first, interact with the blue note. This is a simple mission that requires you to shoot or kill three rats, whichever you prefer.

Now, you'll venture back into the abandoned factory. Inside this chamber, you'll notice one rat crawling on the floor. Then, return to the room where you found Sapphire. There are two other rats in the room.

Item 3: Treasure Map

After talking with the Merchant, do not buy or sell anything. Instead, head to the trade tab; you may now exchange your resources for a treasure map. This will make things easier for you, so go ahead and purchase it.

Item 4: Treasure Ruby

Following the first Merchant, you will reach an area known as "Valley" with a large number of enemies. The treasure is uphill in a chest in the northernmost part of this area.

Item 5: Treasure Elegant Mask

For this item, you need a small key. Once you are in the valley, you will see a small hut in the lower region of that area. Go into that hut, and you will find the key. Return past the Merchant into the abandoned factory once more. 

Inside, there is a drawer that you can open with the small key to find the Elegant mask. Collect the key item, the Hexagonal Emblem, as you need it for later use.

Item 6: Treasure Sapphire

Now, with your key item, you can open this door to another portion of the valley. It's just next to the Merchant. In this location, look in the far back-left corner for a sapphire. Once you've collected it, take the slope up to the next region.

Item 7: Clockwork Castellan

This chamber contains three treasures close together, one of which is a clockwork statue that must be destroyed. 

You can find an altar with bones on it by simply glancing to the left. Then, enter the shed and look in the corner for the statue.

Item 8: Treasure Sapphire

There are two treasure objects in the same region. When you step outside, one of those silver tin cans will be in the center, above you. When you shoot it, a sapphire will drop down.

Item 9: Treasure Pearl Pendant

You will notice a well with a little trapdoor above it. Shoot the stick that is holding the trapdoor open; it will fall shut. Now, blast the can above it while keeping the thing inside. This will give you a pearl pendant.

Item 10: Treasure Ruby

Continue to the next location. You'll see a door with an insignia that you can't enter yet, so head around to the back door of the home. Our final treasure is a ruby, which is kept within the house.

Now, from the abandoned factory, you will enter the valley area. When you enter the valley, you will notice a shopkeeper on the right. Speak with him soon, but first, interact with the blue note. This is a simple mission that requires you to shoot or kill three rats, whichever you prefer.
